Temdo Slider is a powerful and easy-to-use tool for creating beautiful sliders for your website. Main features of the slider:

  • You can choose any image or video as the background for each slide.

If you need to create a beautiful "classic" slider (background, no more than two additional graphic layers, a title, subtitle, text, and no more than two buttons on each slide), it is recommended to use Temdo Slider, especially if you need full-screen sliders and background videos.

Creating a Slider

To create a new slider, in the left menu of the WordPress Dashboard, select Slider > Add a new slide:

Slide type

The basic slide setting is the background type (image or video). Depending on the choice of this parameter, the slide settings interface changes: when selecting a video instead of a group of settings Static background a group appears Animated background.

Slide background

Select a background image for your slide. Keep in mind that the background image will be stretched to fill the full width of the screen (while maintaining aspect ratio). Therefore, it is recommended to use images Full resolution HD (1920 x 1080 pixels). If you want the slider not to occupy the entire screen in height, you need to set the height in the slider settings.

Overlay image

Use this option to overlay an additional image with a transparent or semi-transparent background on top of the main background image. The overlaid image will be replicated across the entire surface of the slide as a texture.

Enable this option if you want to animate the background image. Once enabled, the following types of animation become available:

  • Magnification relative to center (default)
  • Magnification relative to the top left corner

  • Magnification relative to the lower right corner

Temdo slider supports webm, mp4 and ogg video formats.

To use a video as a background, you must first upload it to your site's media library. To do this, in the left panel of the WordPress Dashboard, select Media files > Add new. Once the video has finished downloading, copy its address to the clipboard and return to editing the slide. Paste the path to the video file from the clipboard into the appropriate section of the slide settings. It is recommended that you use video in all three formats whenever possible to support as many modern browsers as possible.

Slide properties

This section sets the basic parameters of the slide:

  • Header Design: You can choose a light design to use with a dark background, or a dark design to contrast the header against a light background.
  • Navigation Color: Choose a color for the left-right arrows and navigation dots at the bottom of the slider
  • Scrolling to a section: show an arrow that, when clicked, will scroll the page to the specified location. Enter a name for the anchor, for example '#contact'
  • Do not show title: Enable this option if you do not want the title to be displayed on this slide.
  • Don't show title shadow: Turn off the title shadow for this slide.
  • Graphic Animation: Choose from two animation effects for your slide graphic
  • Content Animation: Choose from two ways to animate your title, subtitle, text, and buttons

Setting the slide content style

Slide text content style settings (title, subtitle and text) are set in the corresponding settings groups:

  • Slide title
  • Slide subtitle
  • Slide text

In each of these groups, you can set the font, color, size, and other style parameters for each element.

Graphics and SVG graphics

Here you can load an additional graphic element (), as well as vector graphics in SVG format. For each of these elements, you can set a link that will open when you click on the element.

Buttons on the slide

In this section you can set parameters for one or two buttons:

  • Button text
  • Link
  • Hover animation
  • Icon

Slide animation when scrolling
