Do-it-yourself hob repairs. Why the touchpad does not work on the laptop The control panel has stopped launching

Home / Mobile devices

One of the main problems latest version Windows OS - taskbar not working. It often stops responding to user actions after the next automatic update. And today we will tell you how to get it back into operation!

We have prepared two simplest methods that require literally a few minutes of your precious time.

What to do if the taskbar in Windows 10 stops working

The easiest way is to scan the system using the utility built into it. It's called SFC. It is with its help that problems that come to us are solved. automatic update operating system. If the taskbar in Windows 10 really does not work, then to restore it to full functionality you will have to do the following:

If it still does not function, do not despair - we have prepared another method that will certainly help cope with this problem. The result will not be long in coming!

Restarting the taskbar using PowerShell

If the method above turned out to be ineffective in your case, then you should use an almost 100% option for restoring the functionality of the taskbar. But first you need to disable the firewall built into the OS, otherwise nothing will work. You can do this as follows:

  • Open the control panel;
  • We find among the icons “ Windows Firewall", click on it;

  • Go to the “Turn Windows Firewall on or off” tab;

  • We do what is shown in the screenshot and save the changes;

  • Ready. We can use PowerShell.
    Advice: if you use an antivirus with a built-in firewall (Kaspersky a/v, Nod32, Dr. Web and others), disabling it will not be necessary.

    To enable this utility, you can use several methods, but we decided to focus on the command line. We run it as Administrator, enter the command “PowerShell” (without quotes). Done, now the corresponding mode is enabled on the command line. Then we proceed as follows:

    Ready! The taskbar should now start working correctly again. If the problem returns during the next update, you know what you will need to do - so save the article to your bookmarks. Even if you immediately switched to the second method, having skipped the first, we recommend using it to clean the Registry - the computer will work a little faster.

  • Currently, independent hobs are becoming increasingly widespread. Moreover, they come in a variety of types: gas, induction or electric. What to do if the main kitchen assistant breaks down and the hob does not turn on? Is it possible to repair hobs with your own hands, and when is it necessary to turn to a “pro”? Read this article and get answers to these questions.

    Electric stove - how to repair?

    The most common problems with hobs powered by electricity:

    • the hob does not turn on;
    • When connected to a power source, one burner does not heat up.

    To troubleshoot serious problems, it is advisable to contact a specialist.

    What can you do on your own?

    Self-repair, if you do not have special skills, comes down to the following:

    1. Check the mains voltage. It is possible that the socket is broken.
    2. Inspect the plug and cord for mechanical damage. Replacing the electrical plug or cord will solve the problem.
    3. Dismantle the surface by first disconnecting the wires and removing the mounting strips. Check the health of the thermal fuse and transformer using a multimeter. If there is no resistance or its value is different from the nominal value, it is necessary to replace these elements electrical circuit.
    4. Check all wire connections for the most common electrical breaks. First, try to determine the fault visually, and then test the circuit with a multimeter.

    Important! Finding a fault in a circuit is not difficult if you are familiar with a multimeter. If you do not have this device, you can find the damaged area using an indicator screwdriver.

    Frequent causes of breakdowns

    In some cases, you can repair Ariston Hotpoint hobs yourself. Sometimes professional help is needed.

    Now we list the main causes of electrical panel malfunctions:

    • The fuse due to a sudden power surge has blown. Replacing it is not at all difficult. The cost of the fuse is very low. To avoid this problem in the future, it is recommended to install a relay that protects the device from overvoltage.
    • If one or more burners do not work. Most likely, the electrical circuit has broken on the heating element. There may be several situations here. If the heating element is burnt out, it must be replaced with a new one. Sometimes the contact may break on the control unit or switch. In this case, they need to be replaced or contact a specialist for repair.
    • The hob does not turn on or cannot be unlocked because it is faulty touchpad. This is a much more serious problem, and one that a novice electrician will not be able to handle. If the problem is in the sensor, then the panel must either be replaced or sent to a service center for repair.

    Important! Sometimes sensor failure is caused by improper operation of the device. For example, the control unit burns out after washing the surface with a salt solution. This is absolutely impossible to do.

    • The burners do not heat up or heat up poorly. The reason for this may be a malfunction of the temperature controller or thermostat. The latter cannot be repaired, so if it breaks, it is simply replaced.
    • Cooktop crack. The case is quite rare and can occur if the surface is made of glass ceramics. In addition to mechanical impact, the cause may be a manufacturing defect or operational errors. Repairs can be quite expensive.

    Induction hob malfunctions

    The most typical problems here are:

    1. The stove turns off, but then does not turn on. For modern models of technology, this is a fairly common occurrence. It is not at all necessary that there is a malfunction and that you will need to repair the hobs yourself. Sometimes it happens that the diameter of the cookware or the material from which it is made is not suitable for heating. The burner turns off automatically if you remove the dishes from it.

    Important! There is no need to worry if the surface of a modern model does not heat up. The device only heats the dishes, and the surface itself remains cold.

    1. The dishes take a long time to heat up and are weak. Most often, the reason is precisely that you chose the wrong dishes. It must have a flat bottom and be made of metal. IN otherwise- the device simply “does not see” the dishes, and therefore does not turn on.
    2. The hob “turns on” by itself, without any utensils. The reason may be that there is a metal object on the surface of the burner. This is what triggers the device.

    Important! Spontaneous operation can be caused by salt remaining on the surface after washing, or by a malfunction of the control unit.

    1. The hob does not turn on at all. Fixing the malfunction is quite simple: disassemble the equipment and ring the elements of the electrical circuit.

    Gas stove - basic repair

    There are plenty of reasons for problems here. The “weak link” of the gas surface, as a rule, is the nozzles and piezoelements.

    Here are the main causes of breakdowns and ways to eliminate them:

    • The piezo element does not light well. Check the electrical ignition system for blockages. If the electric ignition becomes clogged, wash it and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
    • No gas flowing. First, check whether the gas pipe is blocked. If the gas path is open, the nozzle may be clogged with grease or food debris. Eliminating such a malfunction will not be difficult. The main thing is that you wipe the stove after washing with a dry, clean cloth.
    • Incorrect installation of equipment.

    Important! In modern models, any malfunction is displayed on the device display. At the same time, it is served beep. If your kitchen appliances beep, you can fix this or that problem by carefully studying the instructions or contacting a service center.

    Good day to you, my dear friends. Glad to see you on my blog. I remember one incident. I worked at the computer and listened to music at the same time. And then I decided to turn it down by clicking on the volume control, which is located on the taskbar. Nothing happened, the regulator did not open. I pressed it a couple more times, then thought about changing the settings. Deaf. Then I decided to reboot, but the start menu did not open either. What the hell is this?

    As a result, I rebooted the computer in a different way, but when I started the system again, the same thing happened - the buttons on the panel did not work. What's happened? Why doesn't anything open? It's not clear. That’s why in today’s article I will tell you what to do if the Windows 10 taskbar does not work.

    I’ll say right away that in 95% of cases the CCleaner program, which I described, is to blame. By the way, I also said there to be careful with cleaning through this application. But if, after all, you ran your computer with a cycler and you have problems with the taskbar, then there is a simple solution.

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach (Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”)

    Well, now just sit back and wait until the whole process takes place. It took me about 7-8 minutes. Don't be alarmed by seeing scary red letters on the command line. And you don't need to pay attention at all

    When everything is ready, close the window and reboot. Your panel may not work yet, so reboot in another way, for example, by clicking right click mouse on the Start menu, and then select .

    Have you restarted the system? Well done. Now check. Now when you click on the icons everything should work. Has the problem gone away? If not, then the problem must be looked for elsewhere. But so far I have not yet met anyone that this ailment could not be treated using this code.

    At worst, you can return the system to another date, i.e. at that moment when everything was working. When I didn’t know about this code, it was the recovery that helped me out. But it's better to use the code.

    Well, on this cheerful note I end my lesson. I hope you were able to cope with this illness. And I advise you to subscribe to my blog updates, then you will not miss anything important and interesting. Well, I say goodbye to you for today. Skim through other articles. I'm sure you'll find a lot of useful information there. Bye bye!

    Best regards, Dmitry Kostin.

    If the taskbar on Windows 10, as well as notifications and/or the Start button are not working, then you will find a solution to the problem in this article.

    Preface

    There are various programs to optimize your computer and improve the performance of the operating system. The tasks of each of these programs, among other things, include cleaning the registry from unnecessary sections. One of the most popular applications for optimizing the operation of the operating system and computer are programs CCleaner And Auslogics BootSpeed. There will be no review of working with this software here, since users usually do not have any difficulties when working with such software and, in general, this is not what the article is about. The above programs are beneficial in most cases, but as they say, “not all yogurts are created equal.” In some cases, the Auslogics program and its “cleaning” of the registry of the Windows 10 operating system are also not useful.

    Problem

    The taskbar not working problem is very popular as a large number of users use programs to optimize their PC. But, unfortunately, not all developers have time to update their software to the latest OS from Microsoft.

    After “optimizing” the Windows 10 OS with the Auslogics BootSpeed program, a problem such as a non-working taskbar and the Start menu button is identified. Also, all notifications and basic PC adjustments stop working - sound level adjustment icons, controls wireless networks and so on. The fact is that the recently released operating Windows system 10 is noticeably different from its predecessors, including the registry. Registry cleaning programs see some of its branches as junk and delete them without trial or investigation.

    In our case, during the process of cleaning the registry with the Auslogics BootSpeed program, an allegedly unnecessary branch is deleted ActivableClasses Windows registry 10, but this branch is also responsible for the correct operation of the entire taskbar. This is actually where the problem arises.

    Solution

    To restore normal operation of the taskbar and the Start button, you need to restore the deleted registry branch, which was located here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\ActivatableClasses. This branch can be restored by copying it from another PC running under Windows control 10.

    To do this, on a PC where the taskbar works correctly, you need to do the following:

    1. Launch the registry editor: START –> Run (Win+R) –> regedit.exe(you must have administrator rights).
    2. In the window that opens, find the branch HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\ActivatableClasses and go to the menu File -> Export.
    3. Select the path (most likely to a flash drive) where you want to save the registry branch as well as the file name and click "Save".
    4. On the second PC (on which the taskbar does not work), open the registry editor in the same way START –> Run (Win+R) –> regedit.exe, select menu File -> Import and find the newly exported registry branch.
    5. Confirm the changes and restart the computer.

    After you restart your computer, the Windows 10 taskbar, Start button, menu, and notifications should work again.

    How can I prevent this problem from happening in the future?

    First, you can stop using registry cleaners. But this is too drastic a decision. Secondly, you can configure the operation of optimizer programs so that they do not disable the main Windows components. To do this, in the Auslogics Bootspeed program, before starting to clean the Windows 10 registry, you need to uncheck "File associations" In this case, the program will not affect unnecessary branches and the OS will operate as normal.

    What to do if all of the above actions did not bring the desired result and the taskbar still does not work?

    METHOD No. 1

    1. Find the file through Explorer C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe, right-click on it and select the menu item "Run as administrator".
    2. Enter the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and wait until it finishes.
    3. Enter the command Sfc /scannow and wait for the end.

    DISM.exe may take a long time to run and may appear unresponsive, but you should wait for the process to complete.

    METHOD No. 2

    Try this:

    1. Press the keys Win+X and select Command line(administrator).
    2. Enter PowerShell and press ENTER.
    3. Paste the following text into the window and press Enter: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach (Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml")
    4. Reboot the system and check the functionality of the Start menu and taskbar.

    According to the induction principle, popular in cooking surfaces, heat is directed to the contents of the pan, rather than to the surface of the stove and utensils in which the dish is being cooked.

    These devices, based on technological advances, most often break down like this:

    The unit turns off immediately after turning on, or does not turn on at all

    Induction provides low heat

    The stove lives its own life, turning on by itself, even when there is no frying pan or kettle on the burner

    The panel doesn't work at all

    Most often, owners of induction panels are concerned about the complete failure of the stove to perform its functions: the kitchen assistant turns off after being turned on, or does not show any signs of life at all. Most often, this situation is caused by improper use of the unit. Simply, the “smart” panel recognizes the wrong one used for cooking and declares a “strike” if you decide to cook food in a saucepan from a material that is not suitable for the unit. Yes, size in in this case matters too!

    Advice: Do you want your induction hob to provide trouble-free operation? Use suitable pots and pans! The instructions for each product describe in detail which utensils can be used on a specific panel. Don’t neglect the advice, and you will be happy in the form of a delicious lunch!

    The traditional children's riddle “it shines, but does not heat”, with the spread of induction panels received an unexpected answer: the surface and unsuitable cookware. Poor heating of the induction panel also falls under the category of errors caused by the wrong choice of cookware. The bottom of the teapots must be perfectly flat. Even millimeter-sized notches or concavities provoke a decrease in the performance of the unit.

    Even more offensive, and even more dangerous, is the spontaneous switching on of the panel. Try the following in this situation:

    1. Remove knives, forks, spoons, scrapers, foil - anything that contains metal from the cooking surface;

    2. Wash the surface, completely removing salt deposits.

    Didn't help? The control unit is malfunctioning. You can’t do without a specialist here.

    The complete absence of any signs of device viability has a number of reasons:

    • No power at the outlet. You can check it using any electrical device, say, a coffee grinder.
    • Blown fuse. To eliminate the malfunction, it is enough to replace the part.
    • Broken contact in the circuit. In this case, it is advisable to contact a specialist.
